Goat Intensive Care

One of our Rebecca’s goats had twins a few days ago. It’s been cold at night lately and she’s been worried about them. Saturday, she went to check on them and came hurrying back with one of the babies that was not doing well. It was alive but barely.

She and Noah worked on the goat to warm it up. She put a heat lamp nearby and went and milked the mama goat (while Eric held it) to get some milk for the baby.

Diane did her best to help the goat survive.

But it would not drink the milk from it’s mama and although we gave it the best care we could, it did not make it. Sad, but there was nothing more we could have done.
